How long will a Ventuse aeration system last?
We have systems that have been operating for over 20 years, which is the typical design life of a wastewater treatment plant. During this time, the aeration blowers will require rebuild and replacement of bearings; perhaps two or three times. • Who installs the equipment? A general contractor with civil and/or mechanical capabilities prepares the site, digs lagoons, pours concrete, and installs the equipment. They generally hire an electrical subcontractor to perform the electrical wiring. Ventuse is responsible for starting-up and optimizing the equipment. • What type of warranty covers a Ventuse aeration system? Our standard warranty is for 18 months after shipment, or 12 months after start-up, whichever occurs first. This includes replacement of any failed components (which is a rare occurrence), FOB jobsite. • Will my wastewater treatment system smell if I use a Ventuse aeration system?
