How long will a Fernox Protector last?
Normally a treatment will last about five years after which time a further dose should be applied. If the system is drained in the mean time (for decoration etc), then it will need to be re-treated with a further full dose of Protector. You can check if your system is properly dosed using 60 sec Protector Check test strips which are available from all good plumbing merchants and DIY stores.
