Cakes freeze perfectly and there will be no problems freezing the filling either. There is no limit on how long you can safely keep them in the freezer although the quality may change over time. Cut into slices before freezing so you can remove just what you need when you need it. Don’t forget to label and date to avoid any unidentified frozen objects.
