How long an opened bottle will keep depends on how much wine is left in the bottle. The more wine you’ve removed, the more air is in there to spoil it. Suggest getting a Vacu Vin suction stopper; it’ll give a day or two extra shelf life since it sucks out all of the air. The poor man’s way to do the same thing is to blow very hard into the bottle and recork it. You’ll be replacing the air in the bottle with mostly CO2. Not as effective but still works to a certain extent.
