In 1896, Britain and Zanzibar had a conflict that lead to a declaration of war on Zanzibar by Britain. The sultan of Zanzibar was given an ultimatum, and then Britain attacked. The war started at 8:04 am on a July morning and ended at 8:40 am the same morning!!!! The “war” lasted a total of 38 minutes!!!!!!
