How long to smear test results take to come back?

It used to be that 4 weeks was the normal to get the results of pap smears back but now they can get them back in about 1-2 weeks. Because it has been 4 weeks since the pap was done I would recommend calling the doctor’s office to find out if they got the results in already. I had to do that one time when I never got the results of my pap smear.
