How long to get dentures?
Your dentist can make immediate dentures, so the day you get your teeth taken out, you will have dentures. They will only be temporary ones though. As your mouth heals your gums will shrink, so your immediate dentures will need to be relined, so they fit. After a few months (typically 3-4 months) you will be able to get your real dentures, because your bone will have healed and your gums will have gone down.
