How long to carved pumpkins last?
I never carve mine more than a week before. My area of the country gets very dry this time of year, compared to the humidity of summ, so carved pumpkins shrivel pretty quickly. Last year, I waited until two days before. If you decide to spray it with something to preserve it, make sure it’s not flamable…. either that, or don’t use real candles. Even dry flamable liquids can ignite.
