I have taken suboxone as soon as 6 hours after a shot of heroin and have done that plenty of times, and it prevented me from getting sick at all. If you are going to take it 6 hours after your last shot then I would only take about 4mg of suboxone, then wait about 6 more hours and then you can go ahead and take 4mg or 8mg more of suboxone.
