How long should the putter be?
Hank Haney: Probably 36 inches. But it all depends on the style of your putting. Hank Kuehne, one of my students who won the U.S. Amateur, uses a 34-inch putter and he is your size. Ron & Fred: Is there a benefit to using titanium material in golf clubs? Hank Haney: No. The benefit is for the golf club designers. Titanium is stronger and lighter than steel and lets designers distribute the weight in the club a little more effectively and make the club head bigger without it being too heavy. But unlike what most think, titanium doesn’t make the ball rocket off the face any faster. Lee Franklin: I want to experiment with the overlap grip.
