How long should the church be expected to offer Sexual Abuse Awareness Training?
The training that occurs before any person begins working with minors should be followed by ongoing mentoring and monitoring. There will be opportunities for on-the-spot training as well. Equipping the staff and volunteers at your church should take place in a variety of venues (e.g. videos, website, written material, in-person, etc.).
