How long should Powerpoint Presentation be?

What a silly teacher. Has he given you a length for the speech? Do you know if he plans for everyone to present in one day, or to spread out the presentations? I’ve seen wonderful powerpoint presentations that have lasted as short as a few minutes, to as long as an hour! My suggestion: Make a presentation that has all of the salient points in it, with just a little bit on each slide (you want to keep the slides simple so that the audience remains focused, but you don’t want to flip through them too quickly for the audience to absorb what you’re talking about). Time yourself on the presentation. Some slides deserve a mere 30 seconds, but some may take a minute or two of your time. It really depends on what is each slide. Aim for something that will go about 10-15 minutes (that seems like a “normal” presentation length in my mind), but that you could clip shorter or longer as need be. While setting it up, include places where you could linger and spend some extra time going into more det
