How long should my mouthguard last?
With proper care, including not “chewing” and proper cleaning of the mouthguard (preferably with the Sonic Cleaner offered by SLI) and storage, a mouthguard should last for an average season of 4-6 months. For younger players experiencing mixed dentition (getting new teeth), the replacement may be slightly more often and will be dictated by comfort, although even the custom fit BIOguard® may be made to allow for some of the tooth movement.
