A. With the default blocking factor of 20 Solaris will read/write at about 10GByte per hour to DAT or DLT, a linux PC will take significantly longer (~4hrs for 10GByte). Both Solaris and linux (to DLT) will write about 30GByte per hour with a blocking factor of 200.
