How long should i spend on the elliptical machine?
Depends what all your work out consists of… if you are only doing cardio on the elliptical, then I would suggest about an hour (10-15 minutes warm-up, moderate-high intensity for about 30-40 minutes, and cool-down for another 10-15 minutes), three-five days a week (every other day, preferably). It’s always best to do weight training and cardio to get the maximum health benefits and lose weight/burn fat faster. The more muscle you have the more calories/fat your body will burn in a shorter amount of time. Be sure to measure inches also, because the number on the scale doesn’t always change when you replace fat with muscle since muscle weighs more than fat.
