How long should I leave rodenticide baits in place?

0

All commonly-used rodenticides are delayed action, so rodents will be active for several days after bait is laid. After that, a small infestation may be controlled in just a week; a heavy infestation may take several weeks. Normally, any rat infestation is removed within 35 days. If it takes longer there is probably something wrong – rodents coming in from outside the treated area; insufficient bait being used; bait placed incorrectly; or rodents may be resistant to the rodenticide.
