In order to get an accurate reading we recommend you wait 20 minutes. If you don’t wait 20 minutes you will also unnecessarily saturate the sensor with alcohol vapour, resulting in recalibration (sensor cleaning) to be needed earlier. NEVER blow into the AlcoLimit while drinking as this will damage the sensor and void your warranty.
