How long must an applicant be off a medication before its not calculated into prescription drug costs?
A minimum of six months. Be sure to indicate when usage ended on the application (otherwise it is assumed all listed drugs are being taken). A reapplication must include an Attending Physician’s Statement (APS) that states how long the applicant has been off a medication (a minimum of six months).
