How long is too long to stare at La Sagrada Familia? Thursday June 29, 2006 La Sagrada Familia is to Barcelona what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris or the Statue of Liberty is to New York. But the Barcelona basilica is a monument that rewards repeat visits far more than most other famous tourist sights. Designed by Antoni Gaudi, the famous architect spent the last years of his life on the church, weaving intricate designs into all four faades of the huge church, images which need a camera with a good zoom to be truly appreciated. Having bought myself a camera with a good zoom, I was so impressed by the images I got that I’m going back tomorrow to give it another look.
