Usually intrauterine insemination treatment can commence immediately if you fulfil the Birmingham Health Authority criteria for treatment. IVF treatment is currently carried out at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, the waiting times do vary but usually treatment can commence 18 weeks from the time the referral letter reaches the hospital.
