How long is the process for an applicant?
Please understand that the review process takes time to accomplish, and you will be contacted if the hiring department is interested in scheduling an interview. Normally, you can expect to hear from Human Resources within 2-3 weeks of applying for a position, if you meet the minimum qualifications. Not all applicants are guaranteed an interview for every position. It depends upon the requirements of the position which the department has set and if a match is made with the applicants qualifications. Also, neatness of the application/resume, as well as, grammar, spelling and format play a major role in getting an interview. You may meet the minimum qualifications, but if your resume is incomplete, has misspelled words or is not neat in appearance, you will probably not be selected for an interview.
