How long is the prescription valid for?
The prescription will be valid for a period of 12 months. (Most states require periodic reexamination.) We will offer reexamination at the end of 12 months for an inexpensive $29.95. You can earn a renewal discount of $10 for each referral. • How long do I need to wait before receiving my medical exemption? It will generally take 7-10 business days. After approval of a credit card charge and successful medical evaluation of the questionnaire, the documents will be prepared and sent by USPS usually within 5-7 business days. (On rare occasions that the doctor is unavailable, the actual delay will be communicated via email). Of course the delay after mailing is unpredictable. 48 hour evaluation and email of a PDF copy of the exemption letter are available for an additional charge of $25.
