The tenure of a NSI Scholar is up to the time typically required to complete PhD-degree studies and is unique to each participant .However, second and subsequent year awards are contingent upon determination by the Research Principal Investigator’s assessment that the participant is making satisfactory academic progress toward a PhD degree.
