How long is the North Dakota permit test and whats involved?
North Dakota has changed their permit law effective August 1st 2009. They will now offer two tiers of permits. One will be much like the old permit which requires nothing more than a 10 question test. The new tier of license requires that the applicant take a course in N.D. that includes a range (shooting) exercise. The hope for North Dakotans is that this permit will become more widely recognized than the permit that only requires a test. All current permit holders will be granfathered in under the new law and if they want to upgrade their permits they can. However, all testing and all classes held after August 1st 2009, must be performed in North Dakota. And that makes it impractical for us to continue with this certification. As of August 1st 2009, we will no longer be offer the North Dakota testing that we have in the past.
