How Long Is The Michigan CCW/CPL Class?
By statute, the firearms training class must be at least eight hours in length. Any student who takes a training class that is less than eight hours in length and subsequently submits a certificate to a county gun board is guilty of a felony that is punishable by four years in prison and or a $2,500 fine. Also, any instructor who bestows a certificate to a student that did not satisfactorily complete the class is also guilty of a felony and is subject to the same penalties.
