How long is the EMT Program at ESA?
• 8 weeks of didactic including theory and lab/scenario training • Practicums start the month after the didactic is complete. • ESA arranges three practicum placements for each EMT student: i. Hospital ii. Interhospital transfer iii. Ambulance • Each practicum has minimum hours. • The total length of the EMT program varies, as the ambulance practicums depend on call volume.
