How long is the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) program?
The D.P.M. program is 4 years: the first 2 years are spent on the DMU campus in lectures, labs, small group discussions, etc. Students are typically in class 8 am – 12 pm most days, and in labs at least several afternoons per week. The schedule varies greatly, depending on the courses being taught during a particular block. Students consider the program to be a full-time job, requiring at least 40 or more hours per week of classroom time, study time, exam preparation, etc. • Learn more about clinical rotations. • View the D.P.M.
