How long is the commitment for a travel assignment?
ATC West Healthcare Services travel nurse assignments usually require a 13-week commitment period. There are cases where the assignments are for longer periods e.g. 24 or 26 months. On rare occasions we may have 4 week or 8 week assignments as needed by the healthcare professional and/or hospital. You will need to sign and return an Agreement Letter for each assignment you work.
ATC West Healthcare Services travel nurse assignments are typically a 13-week commitment period. Occasionally we may have 4, 8 or even 24 week assignments as needed by the healthcare professional and/or hospital. Nurses may be asked to extend their assignment and can choose whether they want to remain at the facility or move on to something new. Many of our nurses have been known to stay at a hospital for over a year.
