For most items, the check out period is two weeks. Exceptions are New Fiction books, which have a one week check out period (and a 25-cent “rental” fee due to their popularity) and videos which also have a one week check out period.

TCC standard check-out loan period is for 2 weeks, with one renewal. Videos, DVDs and reserve materials have shorter check-out periods. Check here for other TCC loan periods. Other college libraries will set their own standards. You can renew items checkout out on your card from our website using the My Account feature. You’ll be prompted to enter your Borrower ID and PIN number to access My Account records. If you wish to renew an overdue item, you’ll need to call Circulation services at 201-8376.
