How long is the certification valid?
The CI-CPT certification is valid for three years as long as you remain in good standing with The Cooper Institute Certification Board (CI-CB). A certification can be revoked by the Certification Board if a formal investigation shows just cause. Certifications that are kept in good standing are eligible for certification renewal every three years.
The Broward County processed MBE/WBE and SBE certifications are valid for a period of 36 months. If you qualify for certification, you will receive a letter and certificate showing your firm’s expiration date. It is the responsibility of the certified firm to maintain a valid certification. The County may send a notice approximately 45 days prior to the expiration date to notify you of the need to renew your certification. If the firm is certified by any other certifying entity, the certification is valid for whatever period of time such agency designates.
Sourcefire certifications are linked to the release of the product available at the time the certification was earned. Certification will be considered current for one year or until one major release of Sourcefire or Snort product. Major releases vary based on technology changes and will be communicated to the industry as required. The SFCE certification is tied to both Sourcefire and Snort product releases and is considered current until after one major release of both products.
Effective February 1, 2008, any coach who successfully passes the Babe Ruth League Coaching Education and Certification Program will receive a certification that is valid for their entire coaching career with Babe Ruth League, Inc. This also applies to any coach who has already taken and successfully passed the Babe Ruth Coaching Education and Certification Program.
