How long is the AAG Teacher Exchange USA Program?
The Program is a one to three year Program in which teachers are expected to develop professionally. Most teachers are required to stay a minimum of two years, according to the contract which is offered. Due to the fact that schools put a lot of time and energy into bringing international teachers, many are unwilling to hire a teacher for a one year period. As the teacher gains experience in their new environment during the first year, many find that the subsequent years are a smooth and enjoyable experience. Typically, a one year contract is offered which can be renewed for up to a total of three years.
