Pilot training is approximately 52 weeks. Air Force pilots are trained at Sheppard AFB, Texas; Laughlin AFB, Texas; Columbus AFB, Mississippi; and Vance AFB, Oklahoma. Navigator training is approximately 29 weeks at Pensacola NAS, Florida, and Randolph AFB, Texas.

Pilot training is approximately 12 months. Pilot training bases can be, but are not limited to, Columbus AFB, Mississippi, Laughlin AFB, Texas, and Vance AFB, Oklahoma. Navigator, now known as Combat Systems Officer, training is approximately 24 weeks and is done at Randolph AFB, Texas or Pensacola Naval Air Station, Florida.
