How long is each topic or spot on the message on-hold production?
An on-hold production is comprised of about 10 individual topics or spots. Each topic or spot in your production is about 25 to 30 seconds in length, which studies indicate is the ideal length to ensure callers understand and retain the information. Anything shorter or longer than that is just not as effective. We also use 10 to 15 seconds of transition time between spots to allow callers sufficient time to process and remember what theyve heard.
