6.04.060 g. Seizure of pets or dometic animals: Within 24 hours after any animal is impounded at the shelter it shall remain impounded for not less than five days. Thereafter such animal or pet shall become the property of Colleton County Animal Care and Control and may be placed for adoption or euthanized at the discretion of the director. 6.04080 Owner Relinquishment: Immediately upon completion of relinquishment procedures, the pet or animal shall become the property of the Colleton County Animal Care and Control and may be placed for adoption or euthanized.
