Expiration date of a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) depends on the remaining work to be done. A TCO is issued when part of a project and all life and safety issues have been completed. A request for a TCO has to be submitted to the Building Inspection Division and must be approved by the Chief Building Inspector.
