How long have Tate & Lyle and DuPont worked together?
DuPont carried out an extensive survey of potential partners and chose Tate & Lyle as having the best balance of complementary skills and experiences. Process development and piloting began in July 2000, culminating in the announcement made in May 2004 that Tate & Lyle and DuPont would establish a joint venture: DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products, LLC. This was followed by detailed plant design and construction, and finally, startup in November 2006.
