How long has Western Christian been in existence?
Western Christian High School is an outgrowth of summer and winter Bible schools that began in Minton, Saskatchewan in 1931. In 1945, a handful of Christians, with little more than faith in God, started Radville Christian College. In 1957 the school moved from Radville to Weyburn, Saskatchewan and became Western Christian College. In 1968 further progress was made as Western added a college program offering classes in Bible and liberal arts. The college program was expanded in 1983 to offer a Bachelor of Theology degree. When the World War II wooden frame structures reached the end of their life span in 1989, God graciously provided an outstanding facility in the city of Dauphin, Manitoba. School opened in Dauphin in the fall of 1989, and in September 1993 a middle years program was introduced. The following year saw the expansion of the College’s Bible program, which now offers a One-Year Certificate, Two-Year Associate of Arts degrees and Three- and Four-Year Bachelor degrees. In the
