How long has USG offered SHEETROCK paper-faced metal bead?
The bead has been available west of the Rockies for several years under the BEADEX® brand name. USG has marketed and sold this product since the mid ’90s. It is time-tested and proven to perform. When applied to a sound structure, using recommended application techniques, USG warrants the product will not edge-crack for the lifetime of the structure.
