How long has UGE been part of students programs of study at Kansas State University?
UGE was first implemented as Kansas State University’s program for general education in the Fall semester of 1997. The program was approved by Faculty Senate in May of 1994. During the next three years, faculty members developed UGE courses and the college UGE programs, which were approved by the UGE Council. ICCP was responsible for inter-college communication regarding resource allocation and course scheduling.
