How long has the Milken Institute been in existence?
The Institute was founded in the early 1990s as the Milken Institute for Job and Capital Formation by philanthropist and financier Michael Milken and his brother, Lowell Milken. Its initial focus on the interaction between education and job growth has expanded to include many other issues that are increasingly relevant in a global economy.
