How long has the British Kempo Ju Jitsu Federation been in existence?
The BKJJF was formed in 1989 by Hanshi Bruce to further the teaching of his late father and the style of Zen Ju-Jitsu Ryu. However Hanshi Bill Heffer has been teaching martial arts in the South of England from the late 1950’s until his untimely death and Hanshi Bruce has been teaching since he left the Armed Forces in 1980. Their style of Ju-Jitsu is one of the oldest styles in the UK and based on very traditional styles.
