How long has Spellex been in the spell-checking industry?
The core Spellex spell checking engine has been in existence since 1988. It formed part of a flagship line of Spellex products featuring our plug-in specialty spell checking software for Microsoft and Corel/WordPerfect. The ActiveX Spelling Engine was developed and released in late 1997. Since its initial release, it has been the spell checking software solution of choice for many commercial and in-house applications (see our customer list for more information).
