We started renting and selling Starcraft campers in 1969 as Southwest Rentals. In 1978 we divided the two areas of Southwest Rentals (tool & construction equipment rentals and camping trailers) into two companies. Southwest Rentals remained our tool and construction equipment rental company and Roberts Sales focused on camping trailer sales and rentals. Our brochures say “Since 1969” because that’s when our family started renting and selling pop-ups even though the legal entity “Roberts Sales” was created in 1978.
