How long has Project ASTRO been partnering educators with astronomers?
For 10 years now, Project ASTRO has been providing opportunities for professional and amateur astronomers to contribute to science education in their local communities. Each year the program serves an increasing number of students — nearly 20,000 students are participating during the 2003-2004 school year. Overall, the program has served approximately 103,000 students since beginning 10 years ago.
