The Tucson Toros are back and they opened up the 2009 season with an 8-6 win over the Chico Outlaws, at Hi Corbett Field Thursday night. The crowd of 4883 strong, left with smiles on their faces as the hometown team gave them thrill after thrill. The nights festivities opened up with a welcome back by Toros owner Jay Zucker as he reintroduced the Toros to Tucson. The pregame festivities included a complete team introduction and a double-first-pitch as GBL Commissioner Kevin Outcalt and the Famous San Diego Chicken threw out the ceremonial first pitches.
