A. We started manufacturing log homes in 1977, making us one of the pioneers in the log home industry and one of the few in the Midwest. Since that time we have shipped houses to all 50 states and over a dozen countries. Gastineau Lumber Company, a wholesale sawmilling operation, was owned by Lynn Gastineaus Father from 1952 until he retired in 1987.
