HOW LONG HAS CSA INTERNATIONAL BEEN INVOLVED ANTI-COUNTERFEITING?
CSA International has been active in battling counterfeiting for several years, with initiatives including: training programs to help assist retailers with understanding product approval marks and detecting counterfeit marks; a White Paper on Counterfeiting; enhanced marketplace surveillance of various commercial outlets and continuing investigation. In recent years CSA International has investigated reports of counterfeit CSA marks being found on circuit breakers used in electrical panels, computer power supply units, and safety footwear.
