The building that houses American Karate & Self Defense has been a martial arts school in Dallas since the 60’s. Before that it had been a butcher shop and a lawn mower repair shop, among other things. American Karate & Self Defense as we know it today has been run by Head Instructor Raymon Gomez since 2004.
