How long from greenwich village to upper east side?
Depends on where in the Village and where on the UES! Both neighborhoods are big, and it will depend on how close to the subway you are starting and ending from. The UES is notoriously badly served by subways, and there is really only one line that gets you well into the UES – the 4,5, and 6 line. If you are starting near the 4 (like the north eastern part of the East Village) and you are going to somewhere near E.86th Street and Lexington Avenue, you could be there in 10 or 15 minutes. But, if you are starting from way in the West Village, and going to York Avenue or East End Avenue somewhere in the 70s, you’ll take much, much longer!
