How long does the TriBan Antimicrobial System and application last?

0

Once applied, the TriBan System’s durable antimicrobial chemically bonds with the substrate material, and becomes covalently bonded. It will remain in place until it is removed through the normal wear pattern represented by the location or application. If the substrate material is removed or worn through, the antimicrobial components will then also be removed. Since the cured antimicrobial is nonvolatile, insoluble, and non-leaching, the treatment should last for the life of the treated surface. The life of a treated surface depends on a number of factors, not the least of which is surface preparation. If you treat a dirty or unstable surface, when the dirt comes off or the surface is disturbed, some of the antimicrobial will be removed with it.
